Documentation Home
Pachube, a realtime data brokerage platform for the Internet of Things, provides most of its functionality via its Application Programming Interface (API), rather than via the website itself. The API makes it quick and easy to create products that connect to the Internet of Things by offering sophisticated realtime data, history and user management tools for sensors, devices and environments around the world.
This site provides official documentation of the Pachube API. Below you will find essential information common to all API versions.
Documentation for the latest API version can be found here.

Resources
Libraries
There are libraries and examples available for pretty much every major programming language. See what the extensive worldwide Pachube community has created here: http://community.pachube.com/software_hardware
cURL
Examples are provided where possible using the command line tool curl. This is available by default on Mac OS X and can be installed easily on Windows and Linux systems.
Quickstart
The quickstart shows some examples of basic Pachube usage using curl and your terminal to start poking around with the system. In addition, as of version 2, we include curl examples in the documentation of many of the methods.
Getting Help
The best way to get help is to post a question or comment in the community forum so that other people can pitch in with suggestions or benefit later from things discussed. We also try to be responsive via the "Contact Us" link off of http://www.pachube.com, though failing that, catching us on Twitter at http://twitter.com/pachube is a great way to get our attention.
